About Taiwan High Speed Rail   The Taiwan High Speed Rail starts its operation from 2007. It is the network that runs along the west Taiwan, from Taipei City to Kaohsiung City for approximately 335.5 km. There are 8 stations finished so far, and 4 other stations will be open in 2010. Taiwan High Speed Rail Tourism will take you to travel around the main cities of Taiwan, including Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung to experience the wonderful Taiwan tour.     Stations   From the north to the south, THSR Taiwan covers 15 districts, including Taipei station, Banciao station, Taoyuan station, Hsinchu station, Taichung station, Chaiyi station, Tainan station and Zouying station. The transportation from the initial station Taipei to the last station Kaohsiung takes about only 1.5 to 2 hours.
    Guide   The train model 700T (a kind of train style), is designed to suit the hot and humid weather in Taiwan. With 12 carriages, including 1 business car and 11 standard cars, THSR trains provide 989 seats in total -- 66 seats in business and others in standard.
